LeMahieu teaches hitting, Kiermaier fielding, on MLB Network's Play Ball

MLB Network's hit television series is back, PONY baseball and softball nation, for the 2017 season! Hosted by Harold Reynolds and additional MLB Network analysts, “Play Ball” features one-on-one baseball demonstrations and conversations with some of the top personalities in the game. Each week, the half-hour show will also include tips on how kids can participate in all forms of baseball activities, plus highlights on and off the field throughout MLB. “Play Ball” airs Saturdays at 10 a.m. ET / 7 a.m. PT on MLB Network.

If you missed it this past weekend, check out this video from last Saturday's episode, as the 2016 National League Batting Champion 2B DJ LeMahieu of the Colorado Rockies walks you through how he likes to hit soft toss. As a double feature this week, for all the PONY outfielders out there, catch Tampa Bay Rays OF Kevin Kiermaier teaching how to properly field a ground ball to set yourself for a strong throw to nail a base runner try to take the extra base.
