FC York Elite '99 Finalist at Spirit United Kick-Off Classic

Another great effort by our 99 Elite Girls!  Taking 2nd place out of the group of teams they shared a bracket with is a huge accomplishment.  They knocked off multiple team that were ranked much higher along the way and managed to keep 3 clean sheets through their first 3 games.  In those games they also scored 9 goals from 7 different goal scorers.  That is great!!!  They drew a very good team for the championship game and were handed an opportunity to test the character of the team when they need to deal with adversity.
