U4-U5 Rec rules

*Games will be divided into four 5 minute periods, with 2 minutes rest between periods, including halftime.
*3-4 players on the field at a time
*Coaches will share refereeing responsibilities
*The offside rule will not be enforced
*On throw-ins, a player will be given the opportunity to try until they get it right.
*Only serious breeches of soccer rules will be whistled as fouls.
*All free kicks will be indirect. No penalty kicks shall be awarded.
 *Sportsmanship is of the utmost importance. Cheering by spectators should always be positive and encouraging, not discouraging.
